V Dubai Chocolate

Hello beautiful soul, I’m so happy you reached out! Here’s the recipe you asked for. I hope you enjoy making it as much as I do.

A luxurious, wholesome twist on traditional Dubai chocolate - decadent, nourishing, and irresistibly elegant

This extraordinary recipe transforms simple, nutrient-rich ingredients into a scrumptious dessert that’s both healthy and indulgent. Made with 70% dark chocolate, pistachio butter, and medjool dates, it’s a treat that feels as exquisite as it tastes.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 package kadaifi phyllo dough
  • 4–5 tablespoons unsalted butter, high quality
  • 4 tablespoons pistachio butter (homemade or store-bought)
  • 3 tablespoons pistachios, chopped
  • 10 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 oz 70% dark chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • (Optional) 1–2 tablespoons hot water, for the date paste

Instructions:

  1. Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Pistachio Kadaifi Mixture
      • In a pan, sauté kadaifi phyllo dough in butter over medium heat, stirring constantly until golden and crispy.
      • Set aside to cool.
    2. Make the Date Paste
      • Pit the medjool dates, and carefully scoop out some of the inner flesh without tearing them.
      • In a bowl combine the date flesh, vanilla, and 1–2 tablespoons hot water to form a smooth paste.
    3. Combine the Filling
      • Mix the date paste with pistachio butter until well blended.
      • Fold in the chopped pistachios and a few tablespoons of the toasted kadaifi.
      • Add more kadaifi gradually, adjusting to your desired texture, I like mine thick and slightly chewy.
    4. Stuff the Dates
      • Fill each date with the pistachio-kadaifi mixture and gently press to close.
    5. Coat in Chocolate
      • In a double boiler (or carefully in a saucepan), melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil, stirring continuously until smooth.
      • Dip each stuffed date fully into the melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined plate.
    6. Set & Serve
      • Refrigerate the chocolate-coated dates until the shell is firm—about 30–45 minutes.

These elegant, antioxidant-rich treats are more delicious than any store-bought chocolate, with a fraction of the guilt and all of the joy.
